Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between customers and Explore Bahati Safaris, Ltd., TIN No.: 157-435-221, with its registered office at P.O.Box 15887, Momela Rd., Usa River, Arusha, Tanzania.
The Terms apply to all safaris and services provided by the Travel Agency within the territory of Tanzania.
These Terms form an integral part of the travel contract concluded between the Travel Agency and the Customer. The Travel Agency specializes in organizing safaris and other tourist trips in Tanzania, including transportation, accommodation, meals, guides, and other related services.
Booking and Payment
Explore Bahati Safaris, Ltd. does not offer package tours but will create a tailor-made safari experience according to your personal needs. A binding contract between us arises after written confirmation via email and payment of a deposit of 30 % of the total safari price unless otherwise agreed. The balance of the safari price must be paid no later than 30 days before the safari begins. In case of a booking made less than 30 days before the safari start date, the full amount must be paid immediately upon confirmation of the booking. Payments can be made by bank transfer to Explore Bahati Safaris or another pre-arranged method.
Customer Cancellation
The customer has the right to cancel the booking at any time before it begins. Cancellation fees apply to safari cancellations and are calculated based on the date of cancellation as follows:
60 days or more before departure: 10% of the total safari price
30-59 days before departure: 30% of the total safari price
15-29 days before departure: 50% of the total safari price
14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total trip price.
The customer may transfer their safari booking to another person if that person meets all the conditions for participating in the safari and notifies the Travel Agency at least 7 days before departure.
Cancellation or Change by the Travel Agency
Explore Bahati Safaris reserves the right to cancel a trip in case of unfavorable conditions at the destination or other unforeseen events that make the safari impossible. In the event of safari cancellation, the Travel Agency will offer an alternative date or a full refund of the paid amount.
The Travel Agency reserves the right to make changes to the trip program if necessary for safety reasons, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond its control.
Insurance
The Travel Agency strongly recommends that customers obtain travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and accident insurance. The Travel Agency is not responsible for damages caused by insufficient insurance.
Customer Responsibility and Obligations
The customer must follow the guide's instructions and respect safety rules throughout the safari. The customer is responsible for meeting all conditions for entering Tanzania (valid passport, visas, vaccinations, etc.). The customer is liable for any damages they cause during the trip to third-party property or the Travel Agency.
Medical Conditions
If you or someone in your group has any medical condition or disability that could affect your holiday, please inform us before confirming the booking so that we can assess the suitability of the chosen program. Please also notify us of any dietary requirements you must follow during your trip.
Complaints
If the customer is not satisfied with the quality of services provided during the safari, they have the right to file a complaint. Complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the safari’s completion. The Travel Agency is committed to resolving the complaint within 30 days of receipt.
Data Protection
The Travel Agency processes customers' personal data in accordance with applicable legal regulations and uses them solely for the purpose of organizing safaris and related services. Personal data will not be shared with third parties except when necessary for the safari (e.g., accommodation providers, transport companies).
Final Provisions
The Terms and Conditions come into effect on the day they are published on the Travel Agency’s website Explore Bahati Safaris, Ltd. The Travel Agency reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Changes take effect on the day they are published on the website.
